Rest in peace, brother. Through you rservice and sacrifice you have earned your place alongside all of the great warriors of justice who have gone before you.

Tara is a great person and no doubt will raise a great daughter in memory of her loving husband. Please know we will ALWAYS pray for you and Zoey. We love you!!!

Dear Zachary family,

My heart breaks for you in this tragic time in which you've lost a father, husband, brother, son, and officer of the law. A man of whom I did not know personally but a man that will be missed by many. Even though there is nothing I can say that will ease your pain, I want you to know that I'm praying for you. May our heavenly Father comfort you in this time of need. May the daughter of Officer Zachary grow up knowing that her earthly father made that sacrifice for her. May she come to know our heavenly father and the sacrifice that Christ made for her. May God Bless you all!

BJ you will never be forgotten and you will live in my heart forever. I can still see you walking into my office with that beautiful smile and those big blue eyes just glowing. It hurt so bad the day we lost you and it continues to hurt as each day passes. We miss you so much. For those of you who did not know BJ personally, BJ was one of the most kind, courageous and loyal men I have ever know. He loved his family with all his heart and he didnt mind telling anyone that. Tara and Zoie you will be in my hearts and prayers for ever. To BJ's parents, you raised one of the finest young men I have every known and loosing BJ both as a co-worker and a friend is like loosing one of my own children. I love and miss you BJ!

Tara and Zoe,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that you will never forget the beginning of 2006 but B.J. was doing what he loved to do. The bible tells us to celebrate death and to live life so that our death is a true reflection of how we lived. It's not easy but remember that Jesus has gone ahead to prepare a place for us all. B.J. is there now and one day we will all be together in eternity. For now just know that you have my love and prayers.
