I think of you often BJ. You were such a joy to work with. Zoe has gotten so big now. Althought I have not seen her personally in a while, I have a picture of her on my wall and the president is holding her! It was taken in Washington DC at the memorial. I keep expecting you to walk through my door with that beautiful smile and big blue eyes! God Bless You and we all miss you alot!

BJ,
Just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas, and to say how much I miss you. It seems as if time has gone by so fast. You have always been my best friend, and I will always treasure the time we spent growing up together. It was one heck of a ride. You & Todd behave yourself till I get there. Love ya Brother.

I thought of you this morning. I think it was the song on the radio, Kid Rock I believe. Then I remembered that it's almost been 2 years. I don't know where the time has gone. Everyone still misses you so much. Please take care of everyone this Christmas and New Year. Keep on smiling...that's what I remember most about you.

Well, your baby girl is two!!! Can you believe that?!!! I wish you had been here to celebrate with all of us. Everyone came to the house and we cooked out. We got her a swing set. That is one of her favorite things to do is swing. She is so beautiful and smart. She is ours right? :) Just kidding. We were always told that we would have beatiful babies. BJ I miss you. I love you. Keep watching over us.

BJ,
Happy 5th Anniversary to you and Tara.
I looked at some pictures from your wedding today...What beautiful memories for all of us. You and Tara were glowing with happiness and it brought such joy to us all. Together you gave us precious Zoe, and I am sure some way you are able to enjoy her and to see what a great Mom Tara is.
Words can't express how much I miss you and wish you were physically here with us. I know you and Mom helped me with my Comps or got someone up there to help. :)
I'll see you down the road...
I love you,

So many wonderful memories, I still miss your smile and your silent laugh. It still seems like you are here, just living in another town. Zoe is amazing. I look at her and see you. Tara has been so strong, you would be so proud of her. She is an amazing mother to your Zoe. Keep watching over your family and friends...Happy Birthday and Anniversary...

Happy birthday. 34. Wow your getting old! I still can't believe two birthdays of yours have gone by without you here. In a way I don't think I ever will believe it. It hurts to much. Zoe and I love you and miss you so very much.

Happy Birthday BJ!
We miss you so much. There are no words to express how much all of us wish you were physically here to make us laugh and to give us your great hugs. It's such a nightmare that you aren't. Some of us are going to have cheesecake tonight in your honor since it's your favorite. We can't fathom how, but we know in some way God is letting you enjoy your precious Zoe, so you can see how adorable she is and what a great mom Tara is. She is a blessing, just as you are.
We love you and we'll miss you until we see you again.

BJ,
Happy anniversary, and happy birthday. I see pictures of you, and still can't believe you are gone. We took a trip to the river this summer. Josh, Robert, and Jim talked of you as is you were right there with us, and I think at times you were. Zoe is precious, and an absolute delight to be around. Tara still misses you so much and talks of you often with me. I guess it's kind of therapy for the both of us. Continue to keep a close eye on your family, and thanks for being our Hero.

BJ,
Even though it has been a year and a half, I still expect you at some point to walk through the door. I don't want to understand the reality, but I am forced to each and every day. I watched the video of Zoe's birth the other night. It took me this long to be able to see you talking, laughing, your dry humor, and wonderful presence. I can't believe Zoe has to go through life without you. We love you so much.

BJ,
It's taken a long time for me to get up the nerve to leave a reflection, everytime I have tried I just couldn't find the right words and I still get choked up each time I look at your memorial. We will always remember your smile and the look in your eyes as you gazed at Tara and Zoe. Tara is doing a great job with Zoe. She is one of the strongest people I know and Zoe is just gorgeous! I know that you would be so proud of them. We truly miss you! May God Bless all of your loved ones as you continue to watch over them.

BJ,
With each day that passes, I remember working with you. Your baby girl Zoe is growing up too fast, and looks so much like you. I keep a toy tractor on my desk now (like yours) and it reminds me of you. May God continue to Bless your family and watch over them. You and your family will always be close to my heart and thought of often.

B.J., Tara, and Zoe:

It has been a little over a year since you've gone 42. And you are missed terribly by those who knew you. I am one of many who ride in the Police Unity Tour. Their motto is: "We ride for those who died." This year, I ride for you as your name is carved into the wall in Washington D.C. I have the honor of wearing your bracelet and hope to see your family at the wall. And there are two more riders also riding in your name from Florida and Virginia! We love you Brother, and your family too. See you in D.C. Courtesy, Service, Protection, Sacrifice.

First let me say how sorry I am for your loss. Our hearts and prayers go out to you.
I am a member of the Police Unity Tour, which incorporates a group of officers raising funds to beneifit the Police Memorial in Washigton D.C. As a member we receive a bracelet with an officers name who made the ultimate sacrife. I received Trooper Zachary's bracelet and am honored to be given the opportunity to ride the 250 mile cycle trip in his honor and rememberance. At the completion of this bicycle ride I would like to give the bracelet to the family. If the family is not able to attend I would be happy to mail it to them or to his agency. Again my deepest sympathy

Happy Easter BJ. We love and miss you so much. Not a day goes by without thoughts of you. Thankfully, because of the importance of this holiday and what Jesus did for us, we can look forward to seeing you again. Until then, know we always feel you with us even though we can't see you.

I learn about you more and more each day. Although you are not here with us physically, you are certainly ALIVE in our hearts!! You are talked about daily. Zoe is beautiful and we all will make sure she KNOWS who her daddy IS (not was)... because you are with her ALWAYS!!! Although tragic, it is even a blessing that it happened on New Year's Day. Your memory will never fade or slip by like so many other days of the year do. It allows us to never forget and for that we are blessed!! Also, any time I see I State Trooper or their patrol car, I think about you. How lucky we are you chose that profession! Zoe is a constant reminder of you. She is your breath and your life... Through all these things mentioned, BJ Zachary, you live on!!
Love you Brother!

I can't believe that it's been over a year. I never had the chance to speak to or see you after you became a Trooper. I know each night as I begin my shift on patrol that you are watching over each and every officer. I think of you each time I am on a traffic stop whether it's another officer's or my own. Thank you so much for your time and your service, it's just unfortunate it was cut so short. I would have liked to had the chance to work with you, I know you were a great Trooper! May God continue to bless your wife, daughter and family.
