Rob,
I can't believe it's been a year since the accident. It really does seems surreal. I hope your family and friends have found some peace over the past 12 months. It looks like I will be riding in this years Unity Tour to honor you and every other officer who has given his/her life In The Line of Duty. I'm hoping you'll join me on the ride. I will be looking for you on the wall brother.

Rob, I came across a picture of you the other day and just smiled. You and your dimples always had a way of bringing laughter to others. Thank you for bringing so much love & happiness into this world.
As the anniversary of your passing nears, know that you will never be forgotten. I know you are watching over us all.
May your family seek comfort this holiday season in knowing that you were loved by so many and you shared that same love with family, friends and the community at large.
Losing you was detrimental for many but knowing that in the short life lived you accomplished so much (love, friendships, travel, passion for your job...) reassures us that you were meant for bigger and better things.
LOVE YOU

My thoughts are with your family as the first anniversary of your end of watch arrives. You have not been forgotten and will live forever in the hearts of those that love you. The Blue Family will never let you be forgotten. Keep watch over your loved ones and those still out on patrol. The exterior of my home is decorated for Christmas with all blue lights, one of those lights is lit in your honor every night from now until after New Years.

as the year anniversary of your passing approaches, my heart feels a little heavy this holiday season. i think back and feel really blessed that you came back into my life in the last 3 years of your life. god knows why he does the things he does.

i've spent the last year trying to understand why you were taken from us. it still doesn't make a lot of sense except that i'm sure everyone who knew you and has reflected on you, can say that you taught us all how to be better people.

you approached life with so much happiness
you were a great friend to so many
you were so proud of your roots (go jc)
you made a living doing what you loved

your passing has also taught me that tomorrow is never guaranteed so you need to make today count.

i miss you so much.

to the nguyen family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
