Dillon,
I only worked with you a couple of times while I was on midnights, but I want your family and everyone else to know what a great guy you are. You made an impression on everyone you came into contact with. You always had a smile on your face and never a bad word for anyone. You were a pleasure to work with and would always be one of the first to help out. We miss you already and we know that you will always be there for us. Don't worry about your family, because your family at the 70 will ALWAYS be there for them.
I will never forget you and I love you. Rest in Peace Brother.

The Heavenly Line of Blue stood at attention today as Officer Dillon Stewart entered their ranks.

Thirty-five is too young to die and
it's such a beautiful day.

Is that thunder I hear? Is rain pouring from the skies?

No, that's the sound of crying and the torrent of tears falling from the eyes of those you left behind.

God give peace and comfort to the family of this precious young man who has just entered Heaven.

Dillon, you fought to apprehend after having been mortally shot your extra steps made the locating of this piece of garbage possible. And now it has come to light that this savage may be wanted for the shooting of another cop last week. RIP You are the definition of hero and may your assailant never rest.

It was a month ago today that I lost my husband Officer Stanley Reaves of the Norfolk Police Department in the line of duty. We have 2 children as well 5 and 2. I truly feel your pain. I will pray for you and your family. I am greatful to NYPD for helping to apprehend my husbands killer. They are heros to us all. Just remember that his spirit is still watching over you.
