Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Sergeant Michael Scott Neal

Your family and the Mexia ISD Police Dept. are in my prayers, so too is the officer who accidentally caused your death. I believe that officer will feel your hand on his/her shoulder tonight telling him/her it's alright, it was an accident.

Tragedy can strike at the oddest times and for the oddest reasons. Sgt. Neal, your life on Earth ended far too soon, but you'll live on in the hearts and minds of those you leave behind.

God Bless and Rest in Peace.

Rest in peace, brother! Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Stand tall as you enter Paradise, for you have been chosen to patrol the Streets of Gold with those other brave warriors of justice who were called before you.

Keep vigilant watch over your wife and child as they must now face the holiday season without your physical presence. Help them to find your strength and courage so they may be thankful for having the time here with you that they did. May they be comforted by knowing that you are a hero to many and a guardian angel on their shoulders.

Let your brothers and sisters in blue find strength in each other and comfort in knowing that they have another angel going on patrol with them.

Godspeed, rest well!
