Your heroism and service is honored today, the 89th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

Field Inspector Roberson, today marks the 86th anniversary of your execution at the hands of two lowlifes. It is shocking that after executing two law enforcement officers and escaping from prison that either would be pardoned, especially in Texas where it is generally accepted that a more realistic stand on crime and punishment does and always has existed.

This nation loves it’s meat and by protecting it and investigating and apprehending those who would act in a criminal manner towards a vital food supply and a large part of our economy, you worked for all Americans, not just the cattle raisers themselves. I thank you for your service.

I know your wife is probably with you now in Heaven and it’s safe to say, she was one tough woman. She has my thanks for her efforts on behalf of you and Field Inspector Allison. She too is a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

As a fellow law enforcement officer and member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association I would like to say even though it's been nearly 83 years since Field Inspector Hod Roberson gave his life his spirit is still very much alive and well. Thanks in part to the ODMP for their hard work and dedication for this memorial.
I personally know several of the field inspectors and they are a fine bunch of men. It is my prayer that God keep them safe from harm and lead them in everything they do. I am proud to call them my friends.
