I would like to take the time to say that every officer regardless of city, state or country does a wonderful job. Unfortunately some of them lose their lives doing what they love to do it is fortunate that we have people like you. I would like to say that we know deep down your gone but you will be in heaven watching over all of us. Brian you will be greatly missed regardless of whether or not we ever worked together. We at Medstar Ambulance send our condolences. All of us hear at Medstar wish the Jackson family all the best of luck and if there is anything you need in Fort Worth feel free to call and we will be there.

Brian you are a true hero for protecting the citizens of your city unselfishly. I was a Deputy for the last 2 years and I will always feel I am a part of the law enforcement family. My best friend, Josh Rutherford, was shot and killed in the line of duty on May 29, 2003. To the family of Brian I know what it feels like to lose someone you love in the line of duty and my prayers are with you. My prayers are also with the Dallas Police Department in this very hard time. Brain, I hope you get to meet Josh as I hope I will see him again someday.
