When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world, and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People disappear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up the grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day-time, when they're supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing windsongs, they whisper to us, don't miss me too much. The view is nice and I'm doing just fine.

I met Joann and Brian only briefly this past summer when they adopted a puppy from me. I am honored to have met Brian, and will not forget him. I may not have known him very well or for very long, but I knew enough to know how wonderful of a person he truly was. My heart aches for Joann and all of Brian's family, and you will all be in my heart and my prayers.

To Mrs. Jackson and all who grieve for this true American Hero:
My family & I would like to offer our deepest sympathy for your loss. Like Brian, my cousin's life was cut short by another human being. We have all learned to live with the daily loss and grief, however there will always be that place for him in our hearts. I am sure that you feel the same about Brian. I can only tell you that we are holding you in our prayers and know that God will be with you in this very difficult time. One passage that I would like to share with you is this. "WHEN YOU COME TOT HE EDGE OF ALL THE LIGHT YOU HAVE KNOWN AND ARE ABOUT TO STEP INTO THE DARKNESS, FAITH IS KNOWING ONE FO TWO THINGS WILL HAPPEN.....THERE WILL EITHER BE A PLACE FOR YOU TO STAND, OR YOU WILL BE TAUGHT HOW TO FLY!"
Brian was taught how to fly on Nov. 13, 2005 and he flew straight into the arms of angels.
Good luck and God Bless.

To the family of Officer Brian Jackson,

I just wanted you to know that you have been in my thoughts and prayers daily. I pray that God will give you the comfort and strength to get you through this most difficult time. I cannot imagine the pain that you must be feeling as you are living the worst nightmare of every officer's family! We are still coming to terms with the loss of Sgt. Jonathan Dragus, who was killed 4 weeks ago today in Oklahoma City. I hope that you find comfort in that Officer Jackson died doing what he loved!

God bless you!

The thin blue line was crossed agian and we lost another one of our boys in blue.
Tears will fall.

I knew of Brian more through his wife. She never spoke a harsh word of him, constantly talked about what a great person he was. Brian leaves a legacy of people who loved him and recognized what an honorable man he was. We are all grieving for his wife, and family over this great loss. Prayers. Lanie

Officer Jackson made the ultimate sacrafice..... and some would ask why. Without people like Brian Jackson, this country would be over run with criminals running wild, taking what they want, killing at will. This officer and others who have died in the line of duty are what stand between chaos/anarchy. Be proud of what he stood for! God bless his friends and family.
