Lord,
He was yours to give,
and yours to call home,
please stand by his brothers,
so they don't feel alone,
dry the tears of his family,
so they clearly see:
that he gave his all,
so all could have peace.
Blessed are they,
the children of God,
with heavy hearts,
and honor they trod,
to pay their respects,
to give their salute,
and to ask for your mercy,
on heroes in Blue.

Brian, rest easy brother, we have the watch.

I recall the challenges and laughs we had in the Dallas Police Academy as a new recruit class and how we all developed as a team. Although my career took me elsewhere, I frequently thought of my Texas Brothers and Sisters in Blue. May the Love and Peace of GOD be with you and your Family always.

I spoke with a mutual friend yesterday,Kevin, you rode with him when you were deciding to come to Dallas, Kevin and have both lost friends now in a very short time period. We keep wondering if it'll ever end. We know you and Hank haven't really left us. You're just patrolling another beat.

We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of a loved one in law enforcement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support. As we personally know, sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to the family, coworkers, and friends of Officer Jackson. Many of our brothers and sisters are gone, but none are ever forgotten. May you rest in peace. Then I heaard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? and Who will go for us? And I said "Here I am. Send Me!" ISAIH 6:8
