Not sure why your killer only got 10 years for this horrible crime. I don't really want to think about that. I'd rather think about what a good man you were. And how brave you were. Thank you sir. Rest in peace.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 77th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Officer Kirby,
It has taken over 70 years, but you are finally being honored. I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of McMinnville. But what gets me is how your murderer was only sentenced to 10 years in prison.
