Jamie, I never had the honor of meeting you, but from all of the people I have met that knew you, you were definitely someone I would have gone on patrol with. I have met your 2 beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn and Emily, and they will carry on your legacy. We will watch over them while you watch over us. REST IN PARADISE MY BROTHER, WE WILL TAKE IT FROM HERE!

You've been on my mind a lot lately wish you was here. You were always there to make me smile after a bad call or when I just needed a laugh. Thanks for watching over us all and for keeping your brothers safe. Miss you my friend. Continue flying high

visited your grave a couple weeks ago...you've been on my mind a lot lately...

"There is nothing left of you
I can see it in your eyes
Sing the anthem of the angels
And say the last goodbye
I keep holding onto you
But I can't bring you back to life
Sing the anthem of the angels
Then say the last goodbye "

I have my good days and my really bad days. This has been a bad week. I think about you still everyday. I still feel the same. I've come to the conclusion that my feelings will remain the same until the end of time. You are still greatly missed and loved.

It is the seventh year and another memorial, and yes I had to pick on Katelyn for her shoes... too tall. Brian picked on her too, but don't worry we are still looking out for the girls and we will guard them like watchdogs especially since Kate is going to high school next year. I miss you brother and we are still keeping your watch.

Hey Jamie, I can't believe it's been almost 7 years since that fateful night, and yet I remember it like it was yesterday. Your presence is still felt & you'll never be forgotten. Keep watch, my friend, we've got it down here.

Jamie, I shared your story this weekend with a Memphis police officer who was raising funds to build a memorial for fallen officers and I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since. I remember us throwing pecans at each other in my front yard. I remember us passing so many hot, summer days in Mamaw's pool. I remember you trying to scare me and Kristy as we hid in the loft of Mamaw and Papaw's barn. I remember you coming down to my house to play with my new train set, and I remember us opening presents and shooting fireworks on Christmas Eve. Those were good times that I'll never forget. Pray for us all, especially your Mama and Daddy.

Jamie,
You are missed so much, I was not able to attend the memorial this year but the girls, Malissa, and all of your family were in my prayers that day. I did however see 2 of the most beautiful girls ever that evening in the homecoming parade!! Yep you guessed it Kate and Em. One looks just like you and the other looks just like Malissa, you would be so proud of those girls and of the way Malissa helps them keep you alive in their hearts!!! They are really growing up so fast, and they know they have their own guardian angel in heaven and they call him daddy!! Your family and friends miss you so much, so stay extra close to them, this is a hard time of the year for us all!!!

I just typed a big long message and then realized I can just sum it up in just a few short words. We love you and miss you.

Six years it has been since that dreadful night! I think of you everyday and that's never going to change. I was holding up good until around 11:00pm and it all hit me again! I know you're watching over us up there but I really wish you were here! Brent and I took pictures with the girls on homecoming and they are a handful. You will always be my partner, you always had my back, and you always believed in me. I'm not going to let you down. Until we meet face to face, jus continue to look out for us. We know you got our back! I MISS YOU MAN!

Jamie,
Hey my brother, sitting here tonight thinking about you. I want you to know that you were and still are the best friend and officer I have ever known. I still keep you in my heart and want you to know that I am more proud of you than any one person on this planet. Jamie, you beat me bud. I miss you, and just so you know, Danielle had a baby, he is a mess, and I would love for you to meet him. Jessie just finished basic, and still says he misses throwing the football with you. Kate and Em are doing great, and I know how proud of you they are. I am driving katlin in the homecoming parade tomorrow, and I know you will be sitting beside me.... or maybe driving lol. Either way I know you are there. I miss you brother. Chris says to tell youthat you meant more to her than anything, and loves you still with all her heart, especially when we were catfishin on the river and you cooked breakfast in the sand. 'Old blue chair' still makes her cry.The cd blew out of the truck the other day and she made me dig in the ditch until I found it. Don't laugh, you know she had to have it. You were a great friend to her. I don't have words to say what you meant to me and my family, but I can say you were the best person I have ever known. You changed everyone you touched Jamie, in a good way. I miss you every day, and I have your watch. Today, tommorrow and always. I love you my brother.
