As a veteran the war in Iraq and as a serving police officer I mourn the loss of a such a fine man. He chose to serve his country not once but twice and to serve in the finest way any man can-putting his life on the line to protect others. No greater calling is there than that and no greater sacrifice can you make than to lay down your life. Brother, we thank you for your service and sacrifice, now rest in peace as we keep the watch.
