You were the type that could talk to anyone and get a laugh just as easily, I am sure that ability served you well in your short career. Today my fellow officers and I had the honor to pay our last respects to you. Even though we have never meet, we both share a fellowship that not many people can understand. Not many people can say that they were able to do what they love, not many people have been able to obtain their personal dreams and goals, but you did. Owen, I never met you but your father was my history teacher in High school and one of the best teachers I had. He talked of you often, if only to stir up the old Carman-Ainsworth/Powers rivalry.
