They laid a plaque in your honor at the place where you died. 200 cops, some from other jurisdictions standing in the rain. No one flinched or complained. Rest in peace.

It been almost nine months and it still a discomfort to know that your gone. I see your name every morning when I get in my car and it crazy that you left so sudden. Nobody was prepare for that shock. I almost lost my father a month ago and Paris Jr. was there for me and my family. That is a reflection of what kind of man you where and how you raised your children. I never had a chance thank you for all you done and the guidance you gave me, my brothers and friends.THANK YOU MR. PARIS...

To the family, friends and loved ones of Officer Williams,

When I heard of the events of Mr. Williams passing on the news I could hardly stand to listen. I lost my father almost the same way a year earlier. I know your pain all to well. Take comfort in knowing that there are people praying for you and know what your going through.

Rest in peace officer Williams.

To the family and friends of Police Officer Paris Willliams and his fellow officers with the Philadelphia Police Dept:

I was so saddened to read about the tragic circumstances in which Officer Williams lost his life. On behalf of our entire family, I wish to extend our sincerest condolences for the grievous loss you have suffered.

In reading the reflections about Paris, it is obvious he was well respected by his peers. Paris' valor and dedication to his job will never be forgotten. I really liked reading that he often asked "How are ya living? Are you living large?". One of my favorite quotations is about how it isn't so significant how one dies as it is how one lives. Paris believed in living a life well-lived; when he died the music he had in his soul had been played and his song is still being heard. Thank you, Paris, for setting that example for us all.

May his family and friends continue to be comforted by the law enforcement community and other police survivors. Our family grieves with you and for you. We too share your anquish as we lost our beloved Larry Lasater of the Pittsburg Police Dept. when he was fatally shot this April during a foot pursuit of two bank robbers.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the many years of service Paris gave to his community and the citizens of Pennsylvania, and the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on June 21, 2005.

A good man gave his life this day. He gave up his companionship with his family, friends and co-workers. He gave his all in service to others. He died as he lived. Now he's at rest.

God will call us all one day and we we will be together again. May God Bless and keep your family under His protective wing until that time comes.
