The details of Deputy Brignac's death really hit home, as I was involved in an on-duty accident of identical circumstances several years ago. In fact, that accident also occurred near Route 104 in New York State. I am saddened to see another fine officer die in the line of duty, but may he rest in peace knowing that he served his community well. Prayers and thoughts go out to Deputy Brignac, his family, friends, and co-workers.
