On your birthday we are reminded of the gifts you
shared with us. Be well help us heal.

Been talking about you so much lately. Guess its that time of year. Missing all of your humor and optimism. All the old days keep replaying in my head. The easy care free times of our lives. Thank you for the memories for they always make me smile and remind me how lucky we all were. I will always feel fortunate for having known you. You made me want to be a better person. Thank you. Please continue to watch over those of us who could still use some guidance.
See ya later buddy.

Ralphy I always remembered the smile on your face when I was on light duty at Troop C. You never had a negative comment and you were always a great person for advice when I was a rookie. It was a pleasure to get to know you and thank you for making a positive impact on my life. You are trully missed and I will see ya soon!

Through a tragedy such as this, other doors are opened...Deborah has helped many other survivors by being actively involved in the COPS organization, survivors' retreats, etc. She and many other surviving family members are an outstanding tribute to these officers' memories. May their legacies live on forever.

Missing you.....

It's been 5 years, such a long and winding road, and as the years pile up so do all the special moments that happen in life. Moments, that I'm sure you are here for, but still leave us feeling a little cheated not to be able to share them with you. You are in our hearts always but still wishing you were actually here. Missing and loving you always.

My thoughts are with all of your loved ones on this day. Continue to keep watch over all of them for I know their daily struggle that they face each morning. You are a true hero and heroes never die.

When God wants to bless you, how does He do it? He sends people into your life. Once in a while, you meet someone
who shares their own details with you and helps you make sense of your own grief. It's been five long years.
May God help everyone continue to heal.

"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved."

..i had a dream about you the other night. It'd be nice if you came around more often cuz it was really nice seeing you again. For once i woke up with a smile thinking maybe today won't be so bad. You were always good at cheering everyone up. You had that type of gift.

We really miss you. Your picture with Deb and the kids is always near to us. It's seems just like yesterday that I got the horrific phone call. We really miss you. I hope you know that you will always be in all of our hearts and thoughts. We love you.

I hate when I'm not prepared and something just hits us out of the blue. It's like we lost you all over again. Stay extra close tonight. We need to feel your comfort.

Your nephew asked about the bracelet I wear. I told him it held your name inside, and then I showed him. I tried to explain to him that you were my little boy, just like he is his mommy`s little boy. I show him your picture all the time and even try "that`s your mommy`s brother," just like you are Charlies brother, but I`m not sure he understands. He will know you someday, I will make sure of it. They all will know what a wonderful person your were. What a wonderful son, brother, husband and dad you were. You have left your mark sweetheart. I love you, and miss your sweet smile.

Another year has gone bye and we still miss you. The whole family thinks of you often. You are always in our heart and in our thoughts. I hope you are keeping your grandfather and your uncles in line up there. It's hard to think you are up there and not here on earth with us. I hope you know how much everyone in the family loves you and misses you. Never forget that!

Hey Ralphie. I'm teaching at the U of A and my classes are doing an investigation to find out who you are and where you are. I miss yu and hope their work in the Criminal Justice program know how hard Police Officers work and what they do for the community, up to and including giving themselves up to death.

I miss you and this is an honor to have my students learn how great of an individual, husband, father, and cop you were.

Reat in peace.
