Reflections for Police Officer Tina Frances Zapata-Kerbrat

Tina, you were a memorable classmate and an even better friend. Affectionately known as "grandma", being the oldest one in our class, we miss and love you. With fond memory, your classmate (4-90)...........D.A.

I come across names of fallen Heroes and today yours happened to be one of those individuals. You will never be forgotten by the Family Blue. You will always be considered a true Hero.

A Million Times

A million times we've needed you,
A million times we've cried.
If love alone could've saved you,
You would have never died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place,
No one else could ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
Part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.

Tina,

I never knew you. I was an explorer when I clearly remember hearing of your death. I was angered. Your name has stuck with me for years now. I felt compelled to leave a message for you and let you know you are not forgotten. I am sorry you had to leave us but God needed another Angel. Rest in peace Tina. Please watch over the rest of us serving and protecting, never knowing when our eternal EOW may come. God bless you.
