I do not feel alone today. The love and support of my family gives me great comfort. I love Drew with all of my heart. I miss him every moment of every day. But I know he loved his life. He had it all, finally. To be a husband to someone who loved him so completely, to be a father to children who loved him so deeply, and to be a Police Officer which was his destiny. In life we so seldom get to a place where we can say "I have it all". He was there. Words can never express the love I feel for you all. To have you there, standing beside me, at every moment. We shall forever be a family. You are my family now, and I love each and every one of you. Thank you bothers and sisters, you have done Drew proud. Be strong!! Celebrate his life. Make him an inspiration to all who pass through your doors that the world we live in might be a better place for us all. God bless you all!! Love from the bottom of my heart, Chrissy

Drew was my older brother who shared many wonderful times with me and family. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother and most importantly father. He loved his job as a police officer. I can remember growing up and spending many of rainy Saturdays watching CHIPS over and over and over. And in his so called adult years, COPS over and over and over. We all loved Drew dearly and he will never be forgotten.

I would like to thank the Suffolk police force and the City of Suffolk for all of your overwhelming support for me, my family and especially Chrissy. I didn't want you to leave my side because when you were there, part of Drew was too. I have never witnessed such hospitality and hope that any time you need us ... you won't hesitate to call. We love you all.

Chrissy... your the strongest person I know. I admire your strength and goodness. Marrying you was one of the best decisions Drew ever made!

We love you all. And Drew... Thanks for the memories. I'll never forget what a wonderful person you were. I love you to the moon and back.

May you rest in peace Drew. Although I didn't know Drew very well I loved him for the protection he provided for my husband and all the other officers. I prey everyday that I will make it through one more day without that knock on the door. I feel for your whole family. I don't believe I would be as strong as this family has been.

God bless you Drew and your family and may god continue to watch over and protect all officers who serve and protect! Your all heros in my heart!!

Drew I was the first person you met when you came to the Suffolk Police Dept. You had a very calm exterior but the intensity of a Marine inside. You made my job easy, bringing you into our family and hiring you was a pleasure. Shortly after you graduated from the academy you were working on the street and you called me with a question. It was the type of thing that most officers would not even give a second thought to, but you cared and you wanted to get it right. I wished that I had twenty more just like you. Now I wish I just had one.

Since your in a good position to conduct surveillance on the rest of our Brothers and Sisters please keep an eye on them.

Drew, words cannot describe the hurt and sorrows that we are all going through. I am honored to be one of your Field Training Officers and will cherish the fun we had on the streets doing what we enjoyed. You made my job easy, remember I did not train you...you were ready since day one. I thank you for making my job easy, there will be no other Officer like you. We could always count on you to be listening to 1-C and say "GO AHEAD" when anyone needed anything. We love you and miss you Drew! Remember...stop at the stop signs.

Chrissy, stay strong...we will always be right around the corner if you need anything. Thank you for the support you gave "US" while we attempted to support you. Drew will never be forgotten Chrissy...I promise.

Rest in Peace my Friend!

HEY...HOW YOU DOIN'?

I AM SURE GOING TO MISS GOING ON FOOT PATROL ON SECOND AVE AT 01:00 HOURS ON WEEKEND NIGHTS. THERE ARE VERY FEW PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND MY SENSE OF HUMOR, IT FELT GOOD JUST TO LOOK AT YOU DURING A DOMESTIC INCIDENT OR A TRAFFIC STOP AND KNOWING THAT YOU'RE THINKING THE SAME NONSENSE I WAS. IT'S GOING TO BE TOUGH NOT HAVING YOU AROUND. I HEARD A SAYING FROM A GOOD FRIEND (MPO MIKE CORTEZ),...

..."DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE MIDNIGHT OFFICERS GO WHEN THEY DIE?...THEY GO TO HEAVEN SO THE ANGELS CAN SLEEP IN SAFETY!" REST IN PEACE BUDDY!!

P.S. THANKS FOR MAKING THE RAIN DOWN-POUR ON US DURING THE SERVICE...THAT WAS A GOOD ONE. I LOVE YA DREW!
