Your heroism and service is honored today, the 65th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Dearest Grandfather,

Rest in Peace and know that you are still in the memory of many. It took along time for you to get where you are at now and many thanks to those who got you there.
I know that Tom (Dad) is very proud and so am I. I know that you must have met Nichie by now and you guys are probably talking about old war stories. Please tell him that Rob, the girls and I said Hi and let him know that Lisa is doing a great job.
