I know I will see you again one day but damn I wasnt ready for that night! I am Thankful that God put you in my life and.thankful for our boys. I did get baptized on your 40th birthday. I always wonder where we would be today. I love our times together and our times with the boys that we had. Thank you!! I will always love you!! Miss you each and every day!!

Another year has passed and you are still admired and respectfully remembered in the hearts and minds of so many. My thoughts and prayers are with your loved ones and friends as another year passes. May they know that you will never be forgotten.

What a slap in the face for Justice to parole the individual responsible for your death and so much pain to those left behind. I will never understand individuals who see a difference between using a vehicle or a .357 magnum to kill a police officer. My thoughts are with all of your loved ones on this day. You have not been forgotten as a true hero never dies.

Craig as our birthday month has passed, I have often found myself looking back to all the great times we had together. Just us and with the "gang". Damn I miss you brother and those times. I know that you are looking over all of us during these trying times. Be at peace, as you are loved and missed by many...

As I read through some of your reflections 4 years after your passing, Officer Herbert, it makes me think of what a nobel man you must have been. Thank you, sir, for your service. Made me realize that you left this earth not only as a hero, but a friend, a loving husband, a Daddy and a man of honor.

To the Herbert family I am so sorry for your loss. God rest.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 4th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes love or respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I hold your wife, children, and other loved ones in my heart's embrace today.

Wendi,

We still think of you and Craig often. Our best times were with you and Craig and Quint and Diane.
Rob still marks off the date when it passes..."I can't believe it's been.." he starts to say. I wish we had stayed in touch more after we left Indiana but you are never far from our hearts.

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY...
TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE...
COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN
AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.
