I was proud to ride in the 2010 Police Unity Tour in honor of Blake. We never forget and we ride for those who died. I presented the memorial bracelet to Mr. Gammill prior to the candelight vigil in DC.

Blake:

Just had you on our minds today.....another officer lost his life in the line of duty today in Rockdale County....Every time I hear of a fallen brother or sister...that day that you went to Heaven always comes back into my mind so vivid! I know you met this officer at Heaven's gates, just like officers that have gone on before you...met you with our Lord Jesus Christ! I know your family misses you so very much! (We all do)! Wanted you and your family to know how much we love you....and "WE WILL NEVER FORGET!"
Love,

Dear Blake,

Every tactics training day a member of my team has to choose a fallen hero that we will train in honor of. Tomorrow is my day. Sadly, there are many heros to choose from. But my decision on who to pick wasn't a hard one. I look forward to telling my team what an awesome person you were. How hard you worked and trained and how dedicated you were to your duties. I'm honored to have known you and look forward to training in your honor. Rest in peace.

Hey Blake,

I think of you often and wonder what you are seeing and doing. It is still like a bad fog to think that you are gone. You made the days at SLW worthwhile! Thank you so much for always a quick joke and a good laugh. I pray for your little girls often.

Thank you Blake for your sacrifice.

Blake, we never got to meet because you made your sacrifice one year before I started there but I hear a lot about you. I have visited your grave while out on patrol. Keep safe watch over all of us down here until we finally get to come home.
