I remember Blake Gammill as a catcher on the LBW baseball team in Andalusia, Alabama. He took his job on the team seriously, and was a pretty darn good catcher! I recall one night we talked Coach Helms into coaxing the team to the student center. He had the boys go "help" move tables. Little did Blake know, Ms. Vivian, a couple of baseball moms, and several of us girl Ensemble members had planned a surprise birthday party. Those were great times! Lots of memories!

10 years and only seems like yesterday, i miss u, buddy, and partner. from playing rec.ball then aginst each other in school. then starting together at the sheriffs office together. what a great friend, and co-worker. we had so many fun days and nights together. even when trying to build a porch around the pool. buddy you are trully missed. and never forgotten.

The 10 year anniversary of your passing is coming up in a few weeks and I remember that day just like it was yesterday. Getting that call at 6AM on February 24, 2005 was one of the worst moments for me. You'll always be in my heart. RIP Haven Blake Gammill....you are loved and missed by all.
