This is a statement to honor my uncle, Edgar Claude Smith. I was only 2 years old at time of accident - but I remember him through my family. He was dearly loved and greatly missed. And because of the work of Lisa (historian) I now have communication with my uncle's daughter and this is such a blessing!!! Thanks to all of you for seeing that his name was honored. I never knew doing the family genealogy would pay off so big. I wish I had gotten to know you, but I'm so thankful to all the people that helped get you the recognition you deserved. It may have taken almost 60 years, but it's never too late. God Bless!
