Correctional Officers Lament
The Correctional Officer stood at the Pearly Gates, with face worn and old
And meekly asked the man of fate, admission to the fold
"And what might you have done" St Peter asked "to seek admission here?"
The old Guard proudly stood and said "I was a jailer on earth for many a
year"
The gate moved sharply open as St Peter tolled the bell,
"Come in and take a harp" he said, "you've had enough of hell".

Rest in peace brother.

My heart is breaking for the loved ones, friends and co-workers of Manuel (Gonzo) Gonzalez. It is a terrible tragedy and was a senseless murder. Please, all of you who put your lives in danger daily for the protection of all of us, BE SAFE. My prayers of comfort go out to his family, and prayers also go out to my Corrections family for their safety.
Love from a former CIM employee...now with P&CSD.

We too have family and so many friends in Law Enforcement and all we can do is pray that they come home safe each and every day, unfortunately, we have lost our loved ones, but we will see them again, one day, and they are will be forever our guardian angels.

My heart truely goes out to you and your family.
