Thank you, Chief Goodwin, for your service. What a tragedy this was for our family, but I will continue to pass down your story to the next generation.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 92nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

No officer should be without a reflection. Thank you Chief Goodwin for your ultimate sacrifice for your fellow man. What a shame that it came from another Officer who had a grudge. Your heroic deed has not been forgotten.
