I firmly believe in the Border Patrol to safeguard our borders and I think they are often overlooked or under appreciated. Living in Southern California for many years, I came to appreciate what the Border Patrol does to keep illegal aliens from disregarding our immigration quotas and flouting our system of laws. And since 9/11 their mission to keep out those who would do us harm is absolutely critical. I didn't know this officer, but happen to have something in common with him, I was raised in Casa Grande, Arizona. Thank you Agent Debates for you dedication to keeping our country safe, and may you rest in peace. My sympathy and prayers are with your mother and your fellow agents who carry on your task for you.
