Hey there. Well I just wanted to drop a few thoughts. I miss you very much and think about u all the time. You were a very good friend to me. You gave me the best advice about the struggles that I was going through, and still am. I remember the night that u took me down to Hall Street for a ride, that was awesome. That was my first time in a police car, and havent been in one since. What a happy memory. Well Stac and I have become friends again after all that drama, and I hope that you have something to do with that. Well I'm gonna go for now. Miss u more and more everyday. Oh by the way, Timmy is getting so big.

Love Always,
Your Friend

Hey buddy,
I still struggle with the loss of you every December. As time has gone by, it's easier to just remember and laugh about the good times we had with all of the guys. You won't be forgotten, and you'll always be missed. I'm happy to see that Lisa is doing well, as I'm sure you are as well. Turn 2 is gone, but I know if we were still going, you'd be right there helping out. I miss you, man. I wish all the best to your family and to Lisa. - Mark

"The Badge"

He starts his shift each day
To respond to calls unknown.
He drives a marked patrol car.
A police officer he is known.

He's paid by the citizens' taxes
To make it safe on the streets.
But he usually has a second job
'Cause a waitress has his salary beat.

Now he doesn't know a holiday
'Cause he works all year round.
And when Thanksgiving and Christmas finally arrive
At his home he cannot be found.

He's cursed and assaulted often,
The one whos blood runs blue.
He seldom ever gets a thanks,
To some he's just a fool.

His friends are always other cops
'Cause people just don't understand
That underneath his badge and gun,
He's just another man.

He knows there might not be a tomorrow
In this world of drugs and crime.
And he gets so mad at the court system
'Cause the crooks don't get any time.

And each day when he leaves for work,
He prays to God above.
Please bring me home after my shift
So I can see the ones I love.

But tonight he stops a speeding car,
He's alone down this ole' highway.
It's just a little traffic infraction.
He does it everyday.

Well, he walks up to the driver's window,
And his badge is shining bright.
He asked the guy for a driver's license,
When a shot rang through the night.

Yes, the bullet hit its mark,
Striking the officer in the chest.
But the Department's budget didn't buy
Each officer a bullet-proof vest.

So he lay on the ground bleeding.
His blood wasn't blue - His blood was red.
And briefly he thought of his loved ones
'Cause in a moment the officer was dead.

In the news they told the story
Of how this officer had died.
And some who listened cared less,
But those who loved him cried.

Well, they buried him in uniform
With his badge pinned on his chest.
He even had his revolver,
He died doing his best.

Brad, I know I'm late telling you happy birthday. I'm sorry!! I couldn't bring myself to get on the computer. I miss you more and more everyday. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. Yesterday when it started snowing it brought tears to my eyes. I remeber how I used to tell you how much I hated the snow and the cold and you would tell me I was crazy that winter was the best. Well I miss you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hi Brad,
We thuoght of you with love today...
But that is nothing new.
We thuoght about you yesterday,
And days before that, too.
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name...
All we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we'll never part...
God has you in his keeping;
We have you in our hearts.

We love you. happy Birthday.
