A correction on the previous post I made. I said Owen is going to the University of Gainesville but I meant the University of Florida in Gainesville!! Just wanted to have that correction - ❤️

On this Mother’s Day I want you to know your kids are doing good and think of you often. Owen just bought a house and is going to college at the University of Gainesville- the toughest school to get into in Florida. Laney went back to school to to gain more knowledge. You would be proud of your kids! ❤️

Hey Melissa-I was just thinking how your kids must be adults now as I donated to the virtual candle thing for NLEOMF tonight. You’re thought of and remembered more than you know. There’s all kind of new apartments down Gender Rd. I still hate driving on that road, but I can’t let weeds surround that phone pole :/ I hope you’re having a good time in heaven, it’s an S show down here.

15 years ago tonight you started your shift working 7pm marking in service to serve the citizens of Columbus working Zone 2 Evening Midwatch... You never got the chance to finish your shift and were taken from us by a drunk driver who unfortunately made a horrible choice getting behind the wheel.. I responded out to the scene that evening as a member of the Officer Support Team and remember that cold night like it was yesterday.. You are missed by so many and not forgotten Melissa! God Bless your family! #2145 forever-
