Wishing you and all of your loved ones a Merry Christmas. I know that it is very hard during the holidays as all our thoughts are on those that we love dearly that are no longer here with us in body but their spirit lives on. You will be the topic of conversation over dinner and thats how it should be as you are a hero and heroes never die. Keep watch over all of your loved ones and let them feel your presence around them. You have not been forgotten.

To the family of Jay,
This is a little late, but I have wanted to say "Thank You" for your kindness and understanding on that 1st Memorial Service at the DEA headquarters. My little niece was so insistent on staying on stage next to Karen that she intruded on YOUR time to be honored for your sacrifice of your loved one, Jay. Thank you for your patience & tolerance of a little girl who was lost & bewildered, who loved her daddy and still didn't understand why he was gone.
When I think of my brother SA Terrance Loftus, my next thought is of his "brother in duty", Jay. My thoughts are with you, his family.

God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain; but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way.

Rest in peace.

Jay~

A former co-worker and current officer with the Town of Oconomowoc Police Department was taken from her loved ones by a senseless act of violence yesterday. She has a son slightly older than Andy - please help watch over him and the rest of her family as they cope with this tragic loss.

We miss you terribly...happy holidays in heaven.

Love,
Linda

5 years ago..........

I was thinking of you today remembering all the good times and couldn't help but smile. I don't want to remember you for the events 5 years ago, they will never define you to me. I remember you for you, what and who you were to Luann, your family, friends and those that love you.

You are still so amazing to me and from those I've talked to still have a profound effect on those left here on earth.

You are not forgotten, nor will you ever be. You will be held close in my heart until the day I die and your memory will live on by the stories we tell to remember you.

Hi Jay, I just wanted you to know, your service and sacrifice are not forgotten. I was drawn to the website this morning, not even aware of the date. Tomorrow will be 5 years, impossible to believe. God bless your family and friends. We've got the watch down here.

Hey Jay,
I don't know why it took so long. I guess it had to do with accepting the fact that you are gone. Lots of family news lately. All good, thank goodness. I'm sure you have a lot to do with that, thanks. The boys miss you a ton. Andy cries sometimes and Bryan says he misses you. He just doesnt remember like Andy does. Thinking a lot about you lately with a new assignment in January, will be for 2 years. I know you'll watch over me and help guide me when I need it. I'll be using some of your old equipment (you know which one) so I know you'll be close. We all miss you !

Watch over us

I swear I saw you today. In New Berlin, in your camero, with Max driving. I had to take a double take - and my heart fell when I realized it wasn't you, but a man with his black and white dalmation. It made me miss you, it made me remember all the times we had, it made me angry.

I miss you more today then ever, it never changes, it never goes away.

I'll remember you always................
