I think about Deputy Dunn as I cross this intersection almost every day going to work and I see the memorials left on the side of the highway. Today is my birthday and he makes me appreciate the blessing I have to be protected and served by officers like Him.

Tim, I am thankful to have u as an example to follow. If i have a bad day I look at your page and instantly realize I am blessed to be alive so i have nothing to complain about. In life u know where u have been but never know where life is taking u. It's just sad that good people doing great things for the community have to die before their time. I feel that in life u should die for something or u live for nothing and u died with honor trying to help people. I just pray that if it's God's will for me to put on the same uniform u put on I will not let down the people of shelby county. Thank u Deputy Dunn for being my Motivation in hard times. Every time I drive past Hwy 70 and Brunswick I think of Tim. We were co-workers, partners and friends. I miss him and wonder what life would be like if God had not called him home. We carry on knowing Tim would want us to. He loved being a Deputy Sheriff and we loved having him with us on the streets. He is still with us in our hearts and memories. To his family, you are still a part of ours and we love you all.
