The loss of the barricaded suspect is of no consequence. He made his bed and was blown up in it. The loss of five law enforcement officers and one innocent civilian because of that animal's actions is tragic and infuriating. Deputy Cameron, you are a hero. You have earned your place in Heaven and this 117th anniversary of that horrific event is cause for reflection and mourning.

God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 112th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

When you were serving, I am sure that the agency was much smaller than it is
now. The multiple losses must have been devastating to your family, agency, and community.

Rest In Peace

ON THE LAND OR THE DEEP,
SAFE IN SLEEP.

LOVE, GOOD NIGHT,

THANKS AND PRAISE,
FOR OUR DAYS,
'NEATH THE SUN, 'NEATH THE STARS, 'NEATH THE SKY,
AS WE GO, THIS WE KNOW,
