Well Bran the poker run was another huge sucess tons and tons of people, we knew it would still be a huge run as it always will because u will never be forgotton no matter what happens. Cory did really well riding in jeep had lots of fun with him too. got a few things the other day which was a real tear jerking moment but it's great i love and miss u very much. i'll write again later love ya man

Ball season has finally come to a close. We had a great season. The team went 11-1 and came in second at the tournament. We lost to the same first place team in regular season and the tournament.

You would have been so proud of little Ty man in the last regular season game. He is the youngest on the team and smallest at that. At just 5 I moved him up to play in the 7 and 8 year old league. He was playing catcher in that game. The runners that tied and won the game were both coming to home plate. Tyler was ready for the catch, caught the ball and dove at the winning runner. He got him but the ball popped out of his glove. He was heartbroken. But I was so proud of how aggressive he was and how much heart he had in that game. Not too many five year olds would dive at an older kid to get an out.

Landon is all heart as usual. Everyone smiles whenever he comes up to bat. He has a whole ritual before he is ready. Draw a line from the plate where is foot is placed, beat the crap out of home plate with the bat way over his head, pull up his pants a couple of time, sometimes a practice swing then he is ready. It is so funny.

How we all wish you were here to watch them play ball!!!!

It's been along time since I've been on here and left you a note but you know that I talk to you alot regardless. Well the poker run is drawing near and I'm so excited. It's gonna be alot different this year and hard but you know we are strong. You have no idea how excited I am to see your brother. I haven't seen him since the accident. Bran you have been a wonderful strenth to your mother and father. Without you as there angel, man I don't want to fathem. I think back all the time of the days in the explorers and I just have to giggle of the thing you used to say to me. And how you words were so reassuring. This tragedy was literally close to home for me. I live in the town of Ashley and news of this immediately gripped my heart. I did not know Bran, nor Sara but that doesn't matter. Their story touched me. It still touches me. Brandy's legacy is one of ambition and goodness and it is so senseless to me that his life was taken without a purpose. I never had the pleasure to meet you. However i can not start to tell you what an impact you have made in my life. From how i now do my job, to how i'am with my family. with this job we never know if we will have the next five min. And it is a shame that it takes something as traggic as what happened to you and many other of our brothers for us to relize this. Brandy i thank you for everthing you have showed me and many other law enforcement officer's. Anyone out there that never met Brandy Winfeild all you need to do is speak to his dad and you will Know what a stand up guy he was.Mr.Winfeild I think of you and Your Family every day and Sara and the kids.
