To Linda,Erika and Darryl. May God Bless you. Darryl Sr. and I attended high school together in the Bronx. Many years later my husband and Darryl were in the same class in the NYC Academy and at time were partners after getting out of the Academy.
I know it is years later, but was doing a search of classmates from Taft H. S. When came upon an article about the horrific accident in 2004 that claimed Darryl's life.

Hey man whats up, its been awhile. My family is in FL this weekend at ME MA'S having Kia a birthday party. Her special day was March 21, and this is my weekend to be on the job. I have not patrolled alot, because now they only give us 500 dollars to spend per month on gas and I am at 484 and have 3 days to go. So I am just sitting at the post waiting until called. I keep your baton in the vehicle with me and I explain to everyone who ask about it and start smilimg. You are truely missed. ( RED JUICE, PE PA and do I need to say more). We are coming to FL. on the 20th to the football game in Orlando.We bought Dylan a ford mustang cobra 1998, but everyone say it is my car.I still start laughing when I think about our last talk.Dec. 12th will be 10 years that Kia and I have been married and look forward to another 10 and another 10 and another 10.
