Hey Old Man,
Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how things are going on my end. Im loving work and am having a blast protecting and serving!! I know now how much fun you had and why you loved doing this job. I am excited to see what the future holds for me. Zoe is growing up quickly and she speaks of you often. Your heroism and service is honored today, the sixth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

Hey Nate. Its been a long time. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you and how much you are missed. I wanted you to know how much I make the recruits laugh when I talk about you. All good of course. It still seems like yesterday that we ran back into each other and caught up on the time we missed not speaking with each other. I surely do miss our weekly or every other weekly conversations. Every time I see new recruits at COG I think of how many of them will never be the best officer, friend, and leader as you were. You surely are missed. I know you are very proud of your son as he has become an excellent officer like yourself. Please continue to watch over him and your family.
