Dear Jessi and Family,
I wrote this poem when my father passed away and i thought that it would be nice to dedicate this poem to all the family and friends that knew Mr.Sepulveda....God Bless you all adn sorry for your losses...

GOODBYE:
Goodbye is the most painful word to say,
Because I know tomarrow with you is now not
promised today.
But i am thankful that our time together
was filled with joy and laughter,
Just to say that final word was all i was after.
May your journey to the other side be safe and fun,
Because your new life will have begun.
I shall try not shed a tear or mourn for days,
Because I know that you'll be looking
down on me always.
Although it will be painful to say that
i lost my father and my best friend,
I will rejoyce in happiness to know
that heaven has gained an angel.

It sounds like thunder far away, but the skies are blue and bright... and soon they crest the hill nearby, and ride into our sight. They shake the ground with powerful sound, and they make some hearts beat fast... They look so proud and noble, like Knights come from the past. Side by side, they always ride, and seem to move as one... From early in the morning light, to the setting of the sun. And children point and wave to them, from cars that pass by... And young ones ask their parents, why the men has mirrors for eyes. They ride the roads, and fight for good, and defend small ones like you... They ask to ride, and do with pride, and sometimes they are few. like men of steel, on silver hawks, they sparkle in the light... then with a roar and rumble, they ride out of our sight. Somtimes when one has fallen, never to ride again... You can hear the others calling, like thunder on the wind. Side by side, they slow ride, and their thunder is a mournful sound... And the mirrors hide their eyes from us, when teardrops fall to ground. So if you see one riding, and you look into his face... You see your reflection in his eyes, you know that you are safe. For motormen are a special breed, they love to ride the wind... And when you hear the thunder boom, the fallen ones ride again. Unknown Author

THis is the person that I spend, the last "best" four years of my life. He was great with me and my inmidate family daughter, son, grandaughter and secondary family...

Just one hour before this accident, we were on the phone, he call me always before he moved out of the office, to say "I love you". That day before hang up the phone I said, "I LOVE YOU", he answered, "NOT MORE THAN I LOVE YOU"...

One hour later I received a call fron Ltnd. Moyeno... "OH GOD"... I was far away from the Carolina Area Hospital, but when I got there he was not there, he arrived about 5 to 10 minutes later. And there star my unforgettable nightmare and still today...

Some times, I'm think getting crazy... I just want to sleep and be with him in my dreams, but that does not is possible.

Everybody said, time is going to do the best for your life. But, is not... More times pass, I'm getting more down. I miss him more and more.

I don't like weekends any more. Before I was waiting for this days, only to be toghether all the time... OH, GOD...

Sorry that I wrote this down, but, today I felt so depressed... I send my reflection to this pages on 8-16-2004, thinking that he send me and "ANGEL", with a message.

His sons contac with me evety other day, I lost one person and gain 6 sons, with their own grandsons. They told me how great is this association and special we all knew from you, because Ltnd. Moyeno, spoke to us about how great you gay are. Moyeno is a great person and was his best friend.

But you know what, no matter what, I STILL MISSING HIM, SO MUCH...

BYE...

A Tribute to the Heroes Among Us

Dedicated to Emergency Response Personnel everywhere and F.A.M.I.L.Y.

Our hearts go out to you and your families. You’re in our thoughts and our prayers. Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough for men who are heroes when we need them, but invisible, ignored, and unappreciated when we don’t.

You rescue us, save our possessions, our lives and our families. You are the heroes among us. You are always there for us in the most traumatic moments of our lives. No matter when we call, we just expect that you will come and do whatever it takes to help us. Your selflessness and dedication are awe-inspiring. We show our appreciation with low pay, little respect, and indifference for the issues in your lives, most of the time. As young children, we want to grow up and be you until we get older and realize the risk isn’t worth the reward.

As outsiders, we envy you, secretly. You have benefits in your careers that our jobs just can’t provide. Your work is not the same old thing every day. You get the opportunity to be heroes every time you go to work. You obviously love what you do, and you’re a family. You have a oneness the rest of society longs for. You care about and support each other. You know each other’s families, share each other’s lives. The rest of us face life’s trials and tribulations alone. You are never alone. You have each other, always.

It is our loss not to know you better. This world, this country, your individual towns truly are better places because of you. To lose one of you is a great tragedy, an irreplaceable, immeasurable loss for society. We should be grateful for and to you, and honor you regularly for all you do for us day in and day out without a word of thanks or praise.

We should be ashamed of ourselves; and yet, you continue to do all you do for us in spite of our behavior, which speaks to the people you are. How many of us are willing to do a job knowing we may not go home at the end of the day?

Maybe one day in the future, you will be recognized for all you do with better pay, and the community support and respect you so richly deserve. Until then, hang tough together, and God Bless You and your families.

TO: The family; loved ones; friends and department members: A POLICE OFFICER’S PRAYER : O, gentle Lord! Keep the day / night watch with me. As I begin my tour of duty, I ask your protection from all mental, physical and spiritual harm. Sustain me with the knowledge that I am doing your work, endeavoring to keep peace among your people. Help me to be just as I enforce the law without prejudice or favor to anyone. May I be courageous but not reckless in carrying out my duties. Let me respond to all calls with haste realizing that so many are dependent on me for life and safety. Support me with your consoling power when I am tempted to think that no one really cares and that I am taken for granted. Sustain in me the conviction that so many thousands do care and are grateful for my presence. Grant that I may be loyal to my partner and my fellow officers, and that I may back them up effectively when called upon for assistance. Lord, I ask that I may return safely, after my tour of duty, to my loved ones and those who love me. I pray that I may be a good and honorable police officer; and after my tour of duty is over here on earth, may I enjoy the peace and happiness of heaven that you have promised to those who serve you well. AMEN. ** REST IN PEACE** Sent to you by the father of Master Officer J.D.Koeppen, Capital City Raleigh NC; Trooper D.C. Koeppen, NJ State Police and Cadet Officer A.M. Koeppen Wilmington N.C.

A LA PERSONA QUE AMO

En mi diario vivir desde que te conocí, a DIOS siempre le dí, las gracias por haberte conocido...

NO ESTEN DE LUTO POR MI,
AHORA SOY LIBRE...

He vivido mi vida, paso a paso... He tenido muy buenos amigos.

YOLLY...

“When God made Peace Officers….”

When the lord was creating Peace Officers, he was into his sixth day of overtime when an angel appeared and said, “You’re doing a lot of fiddling around on this one.”

And the Lord said, Have you read the spec on this order? A Peace Officer has to be able to run five miles through alleys in the dark, scale walls, enter homes the health inspector wouldn’t touch, and not wrinkle their uniform.

They have to be able to sit in an undercover car all day on a stakeout, cover a homicide scene that night, canvass the neighborhood for witnesses, and testify in court the next day.

They have to be in top physical condition at all times, running on black coffee and half- eaten meals. And they have to have six pairs of hands.

The angel shook her head slowly and said, “Six pairs of hands….No Way.”

“It’s not the hands that are causing me the problems,” said the Lord, “It’s the three pairs of eyes an officer has to have.”

That’s on the standard model? asked the angel.

The Lord nodded. One pair that sees through a bulge in a pocket before he asks, “May I see what’s in there sir?” (When they already know and wishes they had taken that accounting job.) Another pair here in the side of their head for their partners’ safety. And another pair of eyes here in front that can look reassuringly at a bleeding victim and say, “ You’ll be alright ma’am, when they know it isn’t so.”

“Lord,” said the angel, touching his sleeve,” rest and work tomorrow.”

“I can’t,” said the Lord, “I already have a model that can talk a 250 pound drunk into a patrol car without incident and feed a family of five on civil service paycheck.”

The angel circled the model of the Peace Officer very slowly, “Can it think?” she asked.

“You bet,” said the Lord, “It can tell you elements of a hundred crimes, recite Miranda warnings in it’s sleep; detain, investigate, search, and arrest a gang member on the street in less time than it takes five judges to debate the legality of the stop…and still it keeps it’s sense of humor.

This officer also has phenomenal personal control. They can deal with crime scenes painted in HELL, coax a confession from a child abuser, comfort a murder victim’s family’ and then read in the daily paper how Law Enforcement isn’t sensitive to the rights of criminal suspects.

Finally, the angel bent over and ran her finger across the cheek of the Peace Officer. “There’s a leak,” she pronounced. “I told you that you were trying to put too much into this model.”

“That’s not a leak,” said the Lord, “It’s a tear.”

“What’s the tear for?” asked the angel.

“It’s for bottled-up emotions, for fallen comrades, for commitment to that funny piece of cloth called the American flag, and for justice.”

“You’re a genius,” said the angel.

The Lord looked sober. “I didn’t put it there,” he said.
