Mrs. Shea,

Your love for your husband has moved me to tears. I did not know your husband, but the love that lives through your posts prompted me to leave you a message of love and support. I lost a dear friend of mine to a drunk driver in 1999. God bless you and your children.

A greatful, and moved, citizen

Somehow I found myself sitting here thinking about my life, only to stumble yet again on this page and start reading all of these comments. I've gotta say that it's a pretty powerfull experience, it's completely crazy to think how someone who lights up so many people's lives could just disappear like that. Anyway, Tim's off in the corp and I'm hopefully on my way to becoming an officer myself. I wanted to drop you a line, I know your up there keeping a lookout for us, I seriously remember like it was yesterday when I would wake you up and you would threaten to pull my ears off. haha.... well this is getting long. I'm always thinking about you up there man, I really am!

It was a sad day for our agency when this great man was lost. I am not lucky enough to know him personally but the amazing things I have heard, make me know I am the one who missed out. I wish the best for your family and for you so far away. To your wife : I wish for courage and the continued faith to carry on. Should you ever be in need I am here and would love to be there for you.

My Wish- Rascal Flatts

I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.

But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

Susan, just wanted to stop in on Chris's page and to let you know I have been thinking about you and I hope that you are doing as good as you can. You are so sweet and I wish that you and I had met under other circumstances. (And lived closer too bc I know we'd get along fabulous and have a great time hanging out). I am so sorry for all of your losses and I hope that you are at peace knowing that your dad and your husband are together. Miss you girl. Love Denise

Chris, we never knew each other but I always heard good things about you through one of your classmates from the academy, who happened to be a good friend of mine. You could have easily turned the steering wheel that night in the direction of your home and reasoned to yourself that your assignment for that evening was over. But you went that extra step and went above and beyond your duty for the safety of the people of Delaware. Walk with God and always know that your brother and sister Trooper's will never forget you! Susan and family, please know I'm thinking of you during this tough time of year, an even tougher one now with your dad's passing. May it comfort you somewhat to know that Chris and your dad are together and you will some day meet again.

Take care,
Stacy

Hi, Miss Susan. You probably do not know me personally, but I had met Mr. Shea previously and what a nice man. I remember when this happened, 2 years ago, and it deeply saddened my family and our local community of Ocean View. I am writing this on behalf of my family and friends that were affected by this tragedy. My love goes to you and your children. Keeping you in my prayers, always.

May angels watch over you,

Jessica
