Hey,

I am thinking of you and missing you today just like I have every day for the past 14 years. I plan to spend this holiday weekend with Haylea and Mitchell. They are both incredible. We will do some fishing just like you and I used to. I know you are watching. I will hug and kiss them for you brother!

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 8th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I pray for the solace of all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

mom of fallen Pittsburg (CA) Officer Larry Lasater

I cannot believe that it has been 8 years Derek. Sometimes it seems like 20 and sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. Hard to explain but one thing is for sure....I still miss you and think of you every day brother. I love you.
