I do not know what to say...the most officers killed on the same department in one day since 9-11...I feel the same sickening feeling now as I did then.

I'm so very soory for the loss of your loved one. It is a shame that there are those who have no respect for human life. Even though I never met Officer Bennett, I feel a part of me has been lost. May God be with you. He was a true American Hero.

I lived the majority of my life in Birmingham, and now, as a police officer in the atlanta area, I am constantly aware of the real threat of loss of life, and health in what we do. It is still, such a shock, and loss, when something so senseless as this happens to one of the so fiew, whom have sworn to do what we do. I am so sorry for your loss to the family and friends.
