I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the Gray family and the officers of the Merced Police Department over the tragic loss of Officer Stephan Gray. Once again a coward has taken another brother from the thin blue line. Our brother Stephan now protects the streets of Heaven with St. Michael and his angels. God bless the Gray family and the officers of the Merced Police Department. May our brother Stephan rest in peace. Never forget the fallen hero!

I NEVER DREAMED IT WOULD BE ME,
MY NAME FOR ALL ETERNITY.
RECORDED HERE AT THIS HALLOWED PLACE,
ALAS, MY NAME, NO MORE MY FACE.
"IN THE LINE OF DUTY" I HEAR THEM SAY.
MY FAMILY NOW THE PRICE TO PAY.
MY FOLDED FLAG STAINED WITH THEIR TEARS,
WE ONLY HAD THOSE FEW SHORT YEARS.
THE BADGE NO LONGER ON MY CHEST,
I SLEEP NOW IN ETERNAL REST.
MY SWORD I PASS TO THOSE BEHIND,
AND PRAY THEY KEEP THIS THOUGHT IN MIND.
I NEVER DREAMED IT WOULD BE ME,
AND WITH A HEAVY HEART AND BENDED KNEE,
I ASK FOR ALL HERE FROM THE PAST...

DEAR GOD LET MY NAME BE THE LAST.

SPRINGS END

On a warm spring day the bagpipes played your memory away. who knew I could hate the sound of Amazing Grace. I stood in line like all the rest as we paid our last respects.

On a warm day we put you to rest. Neatly manicured lawn, flowers arranged just right, honor guard right on que and me half awake from workinga midnight shift.

Your wife in black, son so tall and the shivers I felt when your daughter saluted as they played taps.

Its ironic how we gather to say goodbye, we huddle together to make sure none of us cry. Keep the lineintact. After all dont we live in the land of the afflicted and the home of the afraid.

On a dreary spring day you were carried away, in a world less bright, a little less light in God's garden tonight.

Rest in peace Brother

Ofc. Stephan Gray and Family,

Sir, first let me say, Thank You, for making this world a better place to live in. I pray for your family in the hopes that they can make some sense of why you were taken away. Sir, it is MEN like you who give all of us a reason to go on. We are all brothers in this fight and your Family will surley be taken care of. From the deepest part of my heart and the truest from of respect I wanted to say "Thank You" for doing a job that takes so much and gives back so little. I pray if your family should need anything at all they would call on your brothers and sisters from the Ontario Police Dept. in Ohio and we will be there. God Bless you for your courage to stand against the evil of this world. You will never be forgotten.

Respectfully,

Your Brothers and Sisters forever.
