Jason,
Plans are being made for the Annual Bike Ride in your memory. 4 yr old Rory Eller has an inoperable brain tumor. The ride this year will help out her family. I can't think of any better way to honor you than to help a child . Your Dad wants something good to come from all the heartache and tragedy. He misses you so much and is so proud of you. You will never be forgotten. Jayden loves school and is very smart. Can you believe the 2nd grade, she is a very happy little girl and is all about having fun!!!! I can picture the two of you together having a blast. Miss you so much, Love Carolyn

Happy Father's day Jason!!!! I still remember how excited you were anticipating the birth of your daughter. No doubt you are the best Dad ever. You had a great teacher. Your Dad is so proud of you and misses you so much. Jayden worked very hard on a scrapbook page for him. She is filling in for you until you are together again. Love, Carolyn

Jason,
Another Mothers' Day has gone by without you in our lives. I spent the day with our family and was very thankful for that precious time, but my thoughts were with you, as always. I remember all of the Mother Day cards and gifts, especially your and Jayme's homemade ones. But, the most special memories were your hugs, smile, laughter, love. We will always know there is no greater love than the love of a mother and her son. I love you and I miss you so much everyday. I am so thankful to have been so blessed to be your mother and to know you are in a far better place than me and we will meet again.

Dear Jason,
Yesterday was an emotional day for us. Just like all other holidays as the family gathers together it is never complete because you are missing.I could see you right in the middle of all the kids hunting the Easter eggs, and helping eat the candy. As the life of Jesus, his death, burial and resurrection was portrayed in our passion play we are reminder how we can go on without you. Only through his amazing love and grace. It is comforting knowing you are in the presence of Jesus. You are always in our heart and never far from our thoughts. Missing you much.
Love, Dad and Carolyn

Hey pal,
I haven't written in a while, that doesn't mean I haven't thought of you. I still think of you everyday, I pass your portrait in the hall , and it takes me back to March 12 but more importantly it takes me back to the time before that day. Today they had the funeral service for Sgt. Chapin from Chattanooga Police Department, he passed away on Saturday. I know you are with God so if you could please pray for strength for his family and fellow officers, because I know how they are hurting. I just also want to say we miss you and love you Fluff. Until next time, Love you, Brother in Blue

Jason,
Springtime is here once again.New beginnings, new life but in the middle of it all is a huge hole where you are missing.Yes, it is soft ball season something I know you and Jayden would really enjoyed doing together. Mowing the grass time, now that was always exciting at your house. You always had to show off your tan, comparing it to me & Joni which made us look white. Trying to match Easter outfits and not wanting to tuck your shirt tail in.Just enjoying many memories of you today.Thinking of you makes me smile but the missing you really hurts. Love , Carolyn

Dear Jason,
The dept. had a beautiful service Saturday to honor the sacrifice you made 7 years ago. There were alot of officers, family and friends there to show their love and respect for you. Sheriff Guider still can't talk about you without getting choked up. Suzanne always tells me of the last conversation you and her had.She says she knows she tells me every year and she still crys.We shared our memories,we hugged, we cried ,we laughed and in the end it is still the same. Everyone misses you so much and wonders why Jason. God is so good. His grace is sufficient, and He will carry us through till we see you again.
With Much Love, Carolyn

Dear Jason,
After 7 yrs it is still hard not to go back to March 12,2004
It seems every detail will forever be etched in our hearts. It is the kind of pain and lost you never get over. I know if you could talk to us you would say "Don't worry just be happy". How many times I've heard you say that and I believe you lived by those words. You lived life to it's fullest and always seemed to be very happy. When we reflect on the memories, they are uplifting and happy one's.Hero's are like that , always thinking of others and trying to make life better for everyone else. You truly are special not only because you gave your life for another but because that is the way you lived life.
I still question that day over and over and get no answers but one day we will all be together and understand. For sure it was our lost and Heaven's gain. The missing you never goes away and neither does your sweet smiling face. You just can't look at Jayden without seeing you. What a blessing it is to still have a little piece of you here with us.
With Much Love, Carolyn and Dad

Dear Jason,
I know you were smiling down at the football banquet the other night as the Jason Scott Redskin award was given to Eric Newman , Scotties son. We talked with Scottie afterwards about the times you use to ride with him. He said you always found humor in everything and always had that giggle going on.He says sometimes when he is riding around he thinks of you and all the things you all use to do. We talked about the night you had to get hosed down and how late you were for Joni's birthday.Pretty sure you got in deep trouble that night. It is so good to share memories of you with others. Your Dad just seems to light up when someone talks about you. He is so proud of you.You touched many people while you were here with us, always in a loving and postive way. You always seem to pop up in our conversation's . You are not forgotten and are missed more than words can say. Love You, Dad & Carolyn

Dearest Jason,
Thinking about you today. Days pass by , Holidays , birthdays, anniversaries, but never one goes by without thoughts of you. I miss you so much it hurts. I wish you were here to play with Jayden and watch her grow. She is a special little girl with alot of your traits. As I stood in the hall at the high school last night I could not get you off my mind. It seems no matter where we go there are reminders of you.We are so thankful for the thoughts and wonderful memories.I can still see your smile ,hear your laughter and I know I always will. I love & miss you Jason.

Dear Jason,
As one year ends and another begins we are reminded of alot of memories of you.We remembered how much you loved Christmas as we watched Jayden who happens to enjoy it as much as you.Your Dad and I talked about you alot during the holidays with tears and laughter. Of course Chris and I had a conversation about you on New's Year's Eve.He talked about all the trouble you and him use to get in. We miss you so much but the memories and the support of family and friends keep us going. Thanks for the ride the other day. I consider it one of the best Christmas presents ever...... It is comforting to know you had a wonderful Christmas with our Heavenly Father.Keep watching over Jayden. We love you.

Dear Jason,
The month of November is filled with birthdays starting with the 1st and continuing thru the 29th with yours right in the middle. As we celebrate these birthdays you will be there with us in spirit.Only our memories can fill the spot where you use to be , but we are so thankful for those. We were sitting at the table the other night and your Dad was in the chair where you sit the last time we saw you. I can still see you sitting there still hear our conversation that night. Wishing more than anything you were still with us. You are always in our heart and never far from our thoughts. We love you. Dad and Carolyn

Jason been thinking of you a lot the bike ride is now over and it was a great sucess. We helped you'r dad but we didn't do much just help but the main thing is that you were thought of and talked about a lot and it helped a little girl that needed it. She is so sweet and you would have been proud. You're dad worked hard on it and was so proud of you to.You could see the Love and pride in his face.
We all love and miss you a nd think of you every day

Dear Jason,
We were so proud as family and friends gathered for the bike ride in your memory. It was a beautiful day and we could feel you there with us.Even though you are not here with us physically, good things are still happening in memory of you.I know it would break your heart to see a sick child like Adyson.Helping the Cosner family shows what you were all about. You still bring joy to others as you always did.You are missed so much by so many people.
May we "NEVER FORGET" you and the ultimate sacrifice you made, may we "NEVER FORGET" the other officers who protect us daily, may we "NEVER FORGET" the needs of others in our community. We love you Jason
