Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Jason Michael Scott

Jason,
Plans are in place for the 9th annual Bike Ride in your Memory. The ride is for 4 yr old Madison Currier recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. There is no better way to
honor and remember you than helping a child. You were so excited and proud to be a Daddy, and I know it would be your desire that no child would ever have to be sick. Keep watching over us and give Rory a big hug.
You are always in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
Love, Carolyn

Jason, Been a long time since I seen your smiling face. I was so glad to have met and known 2 wonderful people as you and Joni. Loved having Joni as my sidekick at work and hearin her always giving you a hard time on the phone. Remember when you were still in the academy to be a police officer. I will never forget the day I laughed so hard when Joni told me about you and another officer on nightshift getting locked accidentally in a cell with an inmate. I never laughed so hard. But I will never also forget that horrible day in march 2004 that left a very big hole in a lot of people's hearts. You are truly missed and I remember you more each June 16 because you and Joni married on my daughters birthday and you and I share the same birthday and Joni's just a few days before ours. But I write today because for some reason you and Joni are weighing heavy on my mind and for some reason out of the blue I dreamt about you guys last night and just hope it is because of no true reason. I have lost touch with Joni and can only hope your little family is thriving and they are doing wonderful. Hope heaven is as wonderful as they say and you are very missed and thought of often. By the way last picture I seen of Jayden she is the spittin image of you. Love, Shawn Vader

Jason,
Today we are reminded of the freedom we enjoy because of the law officers and military who put on the uniform to defend us daily. Just as you did, they put their life on the line every day. We are so thankful for those who serve and pray for God's protection on them. We are so proud of you as your service as an officer will never be forgotten.
You brought honor to the uniform as you wore it with much pride. You are one beautiful person inside and out.
We love and miss you very much, Dad and Carolyn

Jason, There was a special service at church last night to send Jimmy and Jeremy off to ride in the tour. They were so excited as this was their first time and hoped they would continue it for years to come. We are so thankful and proud of them as they honor the fallen. You are missed so much . They said you will be right there with them . Their bikes have an in Memory of "910" on the back of the seat. You are never left out as they always remember your service and sacrifice. Jeremy shared a situation that happened to him about a month ago that was very touching. These officers are so special with huge hearts willing to help others. They miss you alot as you continue to inspire them . We love and miss you, Dad and Carolyn

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 8th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all those who love and remember you for I know their pride and pain are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections. Jaspn was loved and is missedby so many.

Right now I have a few tears rolling sown my cheeks after having read all the loving thoughts of you. I think I also feel a connection to Jason because of Jayden. My grandson Cody, our special gift from God, was born 2 1/2 months after my son Larry was killed. Maybe one day Cody and Jayden will meet each other at COPS Kids Camp.

Rest In Peace.
