Your dedication to Warren County will never be forgotten. I am a McMinnville native and resident who now studies Criminal Justice at MTSU. I am writing a research paper regarding your work and your death in the line of duty. My father is a LEO and no officer deserves to lose their life in the line of duty. Thank you for your service, integrity and bravery for our community. Rest in peace.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 69th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Sheriff Conlin lived on in his grandson and namesake. His daughter remembered "daddy" with great affection when most other memories had failed her.
