Leave a Reflection

Reflections for City Marshal John H. Spalding

He is the great grandfather of the man who wrote/directed the movie "Places in the Heart". The slain Sherriff Spalding on that film were based on him (although the time period in the film is different)

I am honored to be the second, but hopefully not the last to leave a reflection here. I know you are keeping watch over those of us that continue on.... To make this world a better place.

No officer should be without a reflection and it is my honor to be the first. He is not forgotten. I thank him for the ultimate sacrifice he made while serving his fellow man. God's blessings upon his descedants.
