On today, the 100th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Army during World War I. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Your Sister Annie was my Grandmother. My Mother was very close to her. I have found this on Ancestry and I am very proud of you Great Uncle! I have been in Law Enforcement my whole life. You will never be forgotten!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I look at your picture in your uniform that is hung on my mantel ever day and thank you for the sacrifice you made for the people of Chattanooga. I'm very proud to be your neice and I do not want you to ever be forgotten. Your name will live on and remembered in your family. I know my grandmother and great grandmother loved you dearly and was so hurt to lose such a wonderful man at Christmas time.
