He was a super nice and fun guy to work with. I left in 2000 and did not know he passed so young. Prayers for strength and peace for his family.

To The Family of Det. Kugler:
I wanted to offer my sympathies on your tragic line of duty death. your courage, bravery, and dedication will not be forgotten. I visited your grave at Westlawn Cemetery in Hialeah in June of 2010. My dad was a policeman in New York city for almost 40 years. I believe your widow Marilyn is in charge of the Police Officers Assistance Trust. This is very worthwhile in that it helps families of police officers who die in the line of duty. Rest in peace Det. Kugler.

My heart goes out to your family. You’re in our thoughts and our prayers.

Randall, you rescued us, saved our possessions, our lives and our families. You are one of the rare heroes among us. You were always there for us in the most traumatic moments of our lives. No matter when we called, we just expected that you would come and do whatever it took to help us, and you always met our expectations. Your selflessness and dedication are awe-inspiring.
