Hey Sweetie,

Quietly you came into my life
Openly you shared yourself with me
Gently you drew me closer, always closer
Tenderly you touched a place deep within my heart
Gratefully I celebrate the beauty of each moment I was blessed to have shared with you

Thank you for the miracle of you...
You are and always will be, the love of my life...

Your little buddy and I miss you very much.
You will be in my thoughts always.

Until we meet again...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!!

The 6th Annual Sergeant Keith Ferguson run was packed today, people came from all over to run in your honor! I met a family that came all the way from Colorado. The weather was beautiful and we may have hit the 1,000 runner mark as well. As usual it was a gathering of family, friends, co-workers and people just running for a great cause. For me the day was extra special because it was held on your birthday this year!! I know you never liked the spotlight, but even you would have had to step back, fold your arms, smile that beautiful smile of yours and say good job!

Your little buddy and I celebrated your birthday the way we always do (smile)...

Miss you much and love you more!!! You are always on my mind and in my heart...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!

This year the Race over the Brooklyn Bridge in you honor was AWESOME!! Despite much rain, almost 1,000 people came out to celebrate you!! I could never express my gratitude to all the wonderful people that came and spent the morning with us. It was your kind of fun, you know: family, friends and co-workers young and old crawling, walking and running there hearts together with smiles on their faces and your memory in their hearts...

Your Lil' Buddy and I miss you and think of you everyday. Today he and I will celebrate your birthday the way we always do (smile).

Please know that you are on my mind and in my heart forever and always.

Loving you Always,

Its me again..you know 1-John says God is light and Him is no darkness at all. To me and Devin that is true for you as well. I am so sorry that I was so out of touch. Being in Texas had me so out of touch with the people that I cared so much for. So many of my family and friends left us to soon and learning about this tragedy made me learn that life is too short and always keep close the people that have made me into the person I am today. It may have been about 10 years ago, but I still remember all the fun that we all had together like it was yesterday. I know you just loved to give me heck about my team because I think I was the only Steeler fan in all of Dallas even Devin didn't like Pittsburgh. I recall the year that we moved to TX from PA and Pittsburgh played Dallas in the season opener and you called me when Dallas had made the winning touchdown and you called me I think... just to hear me scream. I was so upset after that game but just hearing you laugh and make fun of me for being such a "crazy lady" as you so kindly put it, made me start laughing. Football season is not the same without you. Devin and I miss the suprise visits when you flew into Texas. I agree with everyone who made their reflection of you, you were and still are one of the most kind hearted dedicated people that I ever knew. I promise to carry a piece of you with me forever!

Hey Keith,
WOW..I am so sorry! It has been years since we spoke. I am just finding out today what happened. I knew something had to have happened because I stopped getting the occasional postcard from the different trips you have made around the world. You my friend will be missed by so many of us that loved everything about you. I have lost a dear friend that just loved to torture me everytime my Steelers lost! You are at home with the lord now but I am sure you made time to see our super bowl win :-) Love and miss you

Forgive me for missing the anniversary of your E.O.W., but I felt as though I could not continue to read about so many tragedies. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. So may I say to your friends and loved ones that my thoughts and prayers are with them now and always. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol and may they know you will never be forgotten.

To the family and friends of Sgt. Keith Ferguson and his fellow officers in the New York City Police Department:

On behalf of our entire family, we wish to pay honor to Keith's memory on the fifth anniversary of the day Keith so tragically lost his life. His heroism, valor and bravery will be forever remembered.

May you be continue to be comforted by the support and caring of your law enforcement family, and other police survivors. We grieve for you and with you. Our family lost our beloved Larry Lasater when he was fatally shot in April of 2005 during a foot pursuit of two bank robbers, so we know the anquish you are still experiencing.

Please know that the brotherhood and sisterhood of law enforcement and police survivors will always be by your side on each step of the journey. As your father is a retired officer, I know that your family already knows this. How proud your father must been to have had you follow in his footsteps.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the years of service Keith gave to his community and the citizens of New York, and the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on January 31, 2004.

Keith: I hadn't spoken to you in over 20 years, however my memories of you are nothing but fond. You were the first boy to ever send me flowers, open a door for me, take me on a "real date" or say the words "I love you". Over the years, you kept in touch with my mother, you even wrote to her from Bosnia. My family adored you and my heart is broken that you were taken away so soon. I take comfort in knowing that you are an angel watching over us all. You will forever be missed.

Just stoppping by to say you have not been forgotten. I was looking at your years of service and calculating your age when you started police work. My son started when he was 20 and only had 5 years, way too short, as was yours even though you had many more years to do the job you both loved so much. It's hard to understand why the good ones are taken so young. But we love and miss and remember always.
