Reflections for Officer G. Parker Driskill

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace

I am proud to have you in my family as my Great Grandfather! I wish that I could have met you. Your son, Joe Driskill Sr., was my grandfather who I had the pleasure of growing up with and knowing until he passed away in 2003 at the age of 103. I'm sure he's with you now. I heard about you and saw pictures of you when I was a child. My Dad, also named Joe Driskill, has, through the years, told me of you and how you were an officer back in the wild days of Fort Worth. Thanks for bringing the family to Fort Worth and for being a FW Police officer. You will never be forgotten.

Joe Driskill
Great Grandson
