Your tour of duty has ended by having given the supreme sacrifice,
Thank you for your service in the career you chose to do
in the spirit of the ISP motto 'Integrity, Service & Professionalism',
You will not be forgotten as your watch continues from the heavens,
With thoughts and prayers for your wife, family and friends
As well as to your fellow brother and sister troopers.

Rest in Peace, Trooper Patrick. May God Bless You.

We are ever so mindful of those who serve unselfishly.
I was the recipient of such service the Indiana State Police
give to the law abiding citizens it protects. I am deeply sadened that there was another monster who didn't share the respect of law enforcement as the rest of us.

He will get his in the end.

Honor and respect to Trooper Scott Patrick.....Honor and respect to those who carry on the traditions of the ISP.

Troop,
I will miss hearing your voice at 10-41 time. I will miss the excitement and feeling of security i got when i knew we were working together. I will miss just talking with you during the slow shifts. I will miss having you out with me but i know you will be patrolling with me in spirit. Scott, you have fallen but you will never be forgotten, you have made the ultimate sacrifice, and for that, you can truly say that you made a difference. My best wishes to your family and child. You have left a piece of you in this world with everyone you have touched. I miss you troop, You are a Trooper, a hero, a role-model, an unforgettable shift partner, and most of all, a best-friend. Thank-you for everything Scott, Your always 10-41 in my heart and memories. Scott, what i wrote here does not even come close to explaining how i feel now and what i will feel like for the rest of my life. I look forward to seeing you again when it is my time. I ask that you watch over us, and keep all of us, safe, alert, and alive. Godspeed Trooper Scott A. Patrick, 13-143 PE# 7025

Please remember the fallen officers we have lost. Remember the men and women who died trying to make this world a safer and better place for us all to live in. Thank you Trooper Patrick for a job well done. Please continue to watch over us and protect us as only you can. You will forever be at our side and in our hearts.

For those of you who still have loved ones with us please take the time to tell them how much you appreciate and care about them.

IF I KNEW

If I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute
to stop and say "I love you,"
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything just right.

There will always be another day
to say "I love you,"
And certainly there's another chance
to say our "Anything I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance
you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today,
and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
and that you'll always hold them dear

Take time to say "I'm sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about today.

On behalf of the Noblesville Police Department, I want to extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Trooper Patrick for your loss. We will wear our black bands on Christmas Day in sadness, but also to honor our fellow officer who has fallen. All of our thoughts and prayers are with Trooper Patrick's family and fellow troopers who served with him. I am an Officer with the Noblesville Police Department, but grew up in Lake and Porter County, IN, which will always be my home. Being a police officer is something that is inside of you and something that takes a certain type of person. I didn't know Trooper Patrick personally, but am honored to call him a fellow Officer in the State of Indiana. The Thin Blue Line is a little thinner this holiday season, but our loss is Heaven's gain.
