My thoughts and prayers are with Trooper Lumley's wife, children, family and friends. Words are never enough in this time. My husband was killed in a car accident at the age of 35 and I was left with two children also. This will be a hard time for you especially this time of year. Please know that your law enforcement family is here for you and is praying for you. Psalm 55:22

I will soon be a special police officer with Metro Special Police so I know the dangers officers are faced with every day. As a security officer I have faced some risky situations. In BLET at Mitchell College in Statesville,NC they made us aware of the risk a police officer takes everyday. I know Tony will be walking a beat on heaven's streets! As police officers we have to remember the Thin Blue Line we walk and never take it for granted. My stepbrother was a good friend of Tony's, and though I never knew him he is still a brother officer.
