Nothing can make up for the absence of someone we love,it is nonsense to say that God fills the gap,He doesn't fill it.But on the contrary he keeps it empty and so helps us to keep alive our former communion with each other.
Even at the cost of pain....
The dearer and richer our memories the more difficult the separation, but gratitude changes the pang of memory into a tranquil joy. The beauties of the past are borne not as a thorn in the flesh but as a precious gift in themselves.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of officer O'Brien, my prayers are with you, and the Temple police dept.

My prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to Officer O'Brien's loved ones, friends, and brothers and sisters if the badge at the Temple Police Dept.
Nothing can ever replace your officer, but I pray that some day the loving, happy memories you have of him will ease the terrible pain you feel today. Your officer is safe on the Lord's beat now, and watches over you still.
Officer O'Brien did not lose his life-he gave it in service, and he will never be forgotten.
